How Your Files Are Processed

All file processing on Just File Tools happens entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you upload a file to any of our tools, the file is read into your browser's memory, processed locally on your device, and the result is made available for download. Your files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service.

We do not have access to your files, cannot see their contents, and do not store them in any way. Once you close or refresh the browser tab, all file data is cleared from memory.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how our tools are used. This includes information like which pages are visited and which tools are popular. We do not track individual users, and analytics data does not include any information about the files you process.

Error Tracking

We use error tracking software to detect and fix bugs in our tools. When an error occurs, a report may be sent that includes the type of error and the browser being used. Error reports are configured to exclude file names, file contents, and any personal information.

Advertising

We display advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of this site. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

For users in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, a consent dialog is displayed before personalized ads are shown, in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Just File Tools itself does not set any cookies. However, third-party services we use (Google AdSense and analytics) may set cookies on your device. These cookies are used for ad personalization and traffic measurement. You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings.
